Because sometimes I'm so busy that I can't post anything at all and I'm all the time with my little (and super cute) little notebook thinking and writting the things I miss so I can remember later on.

So here you have the stupid things I was thinking about this week:

*OPRAH scored the first interview to Bobbi-Kristina Brown, WHITNEY HOUSTON's daughter. Pretty soon, in my opinion.

* The NBA All Stars event last Sunday was huge, and as always, everyone was there. But NICKI MINAJ kissing creepy Lil'Wayne (what was he doing with headphones there?) was just too much for me. Sorry for all Weezy fans & lovers, but I just can't.

* Dark and Lovely Ultra-cholesterol Conditioning Mask for very damaged hair (pictured above). I've been applying a new hairmask that is driving me crazy. It's AMAZING. I remember the first time I put it in my hair and after blowdry etc etc my hair was smooth, moisturized and left a sleek look. The good thing is that I just spend around 3-something quid at Boots (price is around $4,50 on the US). Remember that I lighted my hair recently (I guess "bleached" is more specific, according to reality) and it was super dry and thick. Horrendous. And I've an appointment for my straight perm at the salon in ten days, so you can imagine what kind of curls I do have right now. Well, this mask is a miracle. Oh! And my hair is now longer I can go out with a top knot again! So excited! (-.- yeah, I'm stupid)

* ADRIENNE BAILON had the worst wardrobe malfunction ever. Remember her from the Cheetah Girls? Or dating Robert Kardashian? Or trying to seduce Ne-Yo? Here you go. Girlfriend thought it was a good idea to go out without underwear in a see-trough and complicated dress. Uncensored version for you pervs, here.

* I'm tired of all this RIHANNA and Chris Brown thing. Reeeeeally tired. I mean, it's pretty obvious they are hooking up already. My response? I do follow now Karrueche Tran on Twitter and food themed blog at Tumblr. Pretty interesting, by the way.

* Find a Kajal pencil is so difficult, so I'm always looking for Khôl pencils. The good thing is that I was searching around and ended with a Maybelline Expression one, and as soon as I came home I realized it was a Kajal. So girls, is not impossible and it's worth it.

* It seems that MARIAH CAREY and BEYONCE are working together. I just can't wait to see how is it going to be (I mean, it's going to be HUGE) but I'm worried it would be as the Alicia Keys & Queen Bey collaboration Put It In A Love Song, I'm still waiting the Brazilian carnival video.

All About Octavia (Oscars 2012)

Because it was HER night. OCTAVIA SPENCER got the Academy Award for the Best Supporting Actress for The Help (as everyone knows now) and I'm really glad.

I was watching Never Been Kissed a couple of days ago and I noticed Octavia was there (uncredited, by the way) but I remember her from the Ugly Betty days and SHE IS the meaning of "comedy". Hope this is the first step (finally!) of a longer career!

And I couldn´t be more excited when I saw VIOLA DAVIS going natural on the red carpet. Really, it was like a dream. After that amazing cover of the Los Angeles Times Magazine, Davis' husband Julius Tennon encouraged her to ditch the wig. I.LOVE.IT. I really thought she was going to get the golden award, but she will have more opportunities for sure, as she is a great actress.

Everyone hates Chris Brown

It has been like that since the Grammys (please read this article from Matt Stopera on Buzzfeed, so damn right) Chris Brown can't stop, really. But also RIHANNA can't stop. I mean, would it be possible for her to just move on? Should someone read again that police report or showing her the pics?

Oh la là! I knew it. Lil'KIM couldn't resist and f-i-n-a-l-l-y she replied to NICKI MINAJ and her last single, "Stupid Hoe". How? Subtle. Or not? I looove this Barbie Fight. From People:

I'm pretty sure I feel the same way everybody else feels right now", she said on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live when asked about Nicki Minaj's performance at the Grammys. So here's the thing: Reggie, you're going to Hell. I'm not talking about this picture for GQ (it's even creepier than the Ashley & Cheryl Cole's one) We talked about this on November. Going back with her? You're going to Hell for sure. I mean, as long as all this gossip is true. From People:

Many things last night! And yeah, ADELE won almost everything, which is amazing because she's one of the best voices around nowadays and I'm kinda glad that these awards are for 'real music', even Pop (hey Little Monsters or Katy whatever fans, they did not win a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g.) Complete list here.

So KANYE WEST took home multiple awards including Best Rap Song & Collaboration with All the Lights (feat. Rihanna, Fergie, Elly Jackson, Elton John, etc) and also Best Rap Album for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (now you know why this site is named like it is) but where was Kanye? Remember when he said he won´t come again to the Grammys after that Taylor Swift incident on 2009? Exactly (Yeah. I know...)

DIANA ROSS took the Lifetime Achievment Award (can you believe it is her first Grammy??) and I still don't know why CHRIS BROWN got his first Grammy. God. Twitter was a nightmare, click here to see the most upseting reactions to Brown's winning. Creepy.

* And what about NICKI MINAJ? Is this like a Gaga moment or something? She appeared on the ceremony with a shiny red outfit complete with a hood and gloves, and walked the carpert with an escort dressed as a Pope. I mean, really? Nicki, you can do better.

* Am I the only one who loved CORINNE BAILEY-RAE on her ruffled Christian Siriano's dress?

* LL Cool J honored Whitney Houston with a prayer in the late singer's honor, a touching tribute. Also emotional was JENNIFER HUDSON's tribute to Whitney, singing I Will Always Love You in front of the crowd.

** By the way, did you watch the Baftas last night? OCTAVIA SPENCER (won again, by the way) was dressed (as a friend quoted from Twitter) as a "feathered mermaid" on a Tadashi Shoji gown. Classy.

A goodbye to a diva. WHITNEY HOUSTON is dead. her publicist confirmed the singer's death only hours before her performance at the annual pre-Grammy party on LA. It's still unclear if there was any evidence of drugs. She was 48.

"I can confirm that Whitney Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. We received a call at 3:43 p.m. from hotel security and Beverly Hills fire and police responded minutes later," Beverly Hills Police Lieutenant Mark Rosen told People magazine. "Someone in her entourage found her unresponsive in her room ... It's unclear who notified hotel staff because she has quite an entourage here at the hotel. We attempted to resuscitate her, to no avail."

Shocked. Really, really shocked. I mean, when I was around ten years old I was totally in love with her music (although Mariah Carey was my #1) and I almost all my time in my room singing and dancing (I can´t remember how many times did I sing When You Believe from The Prince of Egypt).

It was so sad when all the Bobby Brown and the crack thing was revealed. The two wed in 1992, and the following year he was charged with domestic abuse. After several years together, the couple divorced in 2007, and they had a daughter, Bobbi Kristina, today 18. UPDATE: Bobbi Kristina has been hospitalized for a "total breakdown". Apparently, she was on the same hotel as Whitney.
Her last days were bizarre and there were several episodes of reportedly erratic and bizarre behaviour. Alcohol, cigarettes, prescripted pills. Whitney was found on her hotel room's bathtub.

True inpiration, all the big divas (Mariah, Ella, Celine...) have said goodbye to one of the greatest voices of all times.

Tonight we have the Grammy Awards party. Let's tribute her.

And finally, Blue Ivy makes her debut on a new Tumblr created by "the Carter family". Jay-Z and BEYONCE have introduced their month-old baby girl sharing a few pictures on this site.

Let's have a look on baby Blue: loads of black hair (loving the "bangs" haha! I'm thinking of myself as a baby and it seems that the baby is going to be quite light-coloured, maybe a little too much if we think about their parents' skin colour, but y'know, it's all about random genetics) and very cute. If we go back to the theories (almost confirmed last week when Beyonce appeared on Jay-Z last concert with her "post-baby body" -as if you could be like that four weeks later dressing on lycra) the pregnancy could be questioned, but I think it's time to forget, baby Blue is here and it's all that matters, right?

On the road to the Academy Awards, The Help cast scored yesterday three big SAG Awards: VIOLA DAVIS for Best Female Actor in a Leading Role for the drama; OCTAVIA SPENCER for Best Female Actor in a Supporting Role, and also the whole cast won for Oustanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Viola said:

"What is there [in life] but a dream. You can't trade in your dream for another dream. I am so proud to be an actor."

And what about the dresses? They were stunning! Our choices go for: Viola Davis, dressed on a plunging strapless Grecian Marchesa gown, Jimmy Choo sandals and Cathy Waterman jewels. Glee gal NAYA RIVERA chose a Naeem Khan gown with feather beading; and the lovely ZOE SALDAÑA took a little risk with an encrusted neckline, a bejeweled waistline and crystal-fringe. Is KHLOE KARDASHIAN a "real Kardashian"? The best Kardashian of the whole klan may not be a Kardashian. Rumors have been around the web, and even Robert Kardashian's ex wives are claiming it. So bloggers are now theorizing about who who is Khloe's real father (they even mentioned that OJ Simpson could be her daddy. Remember that Robert Kardashian was part of OJ's legal team)

Kris Jenner’s former hairdresser of the eighties, Alex Roldan, could be Khloe's dad. Sources say that he and Kris probably had an appropriately-eighties coke-soaked tryst one steamy evening and Khloe was the ultimate result. Funny thing? Khloe’s middle name is “Alexandra.” An homage to daddy, perhaps? It wouldn’t surprise me in the least. Kris has never made it a secret that she’d cheated on Robert Kardashian before they divorced. Could you believe she is talking to networks to set a price for "who is Klhoe's father" revelation?

Kris, you're pimping your kids. Kris Jenner tested Khloe’s DNA on the third season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Later, she copped on national TV to cheating on Robert Kardashian, and don't forget about her biography. She loves that we all suspect that Khloe was fathered by another man.

Last night RIHANNA and Chris Brown left Greystone Manor in West Hollywood after a night out. TOGETHER. Just as her restraining order has ended against her ex, the former couple — who split in 2009 after Chris assaulted Rihanna and was sentenced to serve five years of probation and six months of community service — spent the nigiht together. At least RihRih was not stupid enough to get in the same car as Breezy. The truth is that Chris has a new girlfriend, an aspiring model called Karrueche (aparently, the blonde girl in Chris' car, pictured below) as TMZ reports, and he and Rihanna are just friends.

Friends? I think I told you before but, please, get away from him.

Maybe it´s just me (Youtube says I'm not alone, but still) but I don't like NICKI MINAJ's new video. And all of you know that I'm girlfriend's super fan, but I just can't understand the Shakira look-a-like video. You know, with the cage and so (watch Loba for references, but it's also horrile) I mean, I do love the funky 60s colorful look, but... not the song. And PLEASE Nicki, don't say you're "the female Weezy". Lil'Wayne is c-r-e-e-p-y. Give a point to the Angelina-Jennifer Aniston part, tho.

Who was the chosen? Italian designer Alberta Ferretti. The little Knowles made her runway debut at the designer's Pre-Fall 2012 show last week, where the new model stepped on the runway in a lenght biased cut gown with beaded collar and her wonderful afro (what else?)

Could be worse, but everyone know she got the contract as she is Queen Bey's lil sis (may I say Blue Ivy's auntie instead?)

And then, the Golden Globes 2012 came last night! Road to the Oscars! Do you think OCTAVIA SPENCER will make it on the Academy Awards?

Dunno, but what's sure is that our fave ladies totally rock the red carpet. Honorable mentions include The Help‘s breakout star, VIOLA DAVIS who was like a goddess in that Grecian-inspired dress; as well as JESSICA ALBA, SALMA HAYEK and SOFIA VERGARA.

So many questions could be asked here, but most important is should Will and Jada pump the breaks on this young diva’s career? So... happy new year 2012! After an eating-too-much night (but not alcohol! Forget about the beer bottle on the right pic..), had a rest yesterday and coming back to this bloggersphere (have you checked my personal Tumblr?)

1# STOP smoking: today is Day 2 and I've already got angry with everyone, and I'm so nervous that my house is like a clean-freak's.

2# FIT in Fitness: or dancing, or zumba... whatever. I was good at gymnastics, it's time to come back after a eight year's gap. It's not weight loss, it's keeping fit.

3# IGNORE others' problems as lons as it's people I don't really care: cause I know I attract problems while trying to help. I don't have to be stupid.

4# STOP doing things randomly to my hair: extensions will make you bald, when I cut my hair (less than a week ago) I want it longer... Today I was so bored that I dye it. So S-T-O-P it.

5# TRY not to worry so much: I have a real problem with that. I talk like a 60-year-old lady.

6# Should I GET a drive license?

And because I do have to go on 2013 with everything done, I'm going to stop here.

So I'm changing my look (again, I know, but you know I have a problem: I am bored from time to time!) and I'm almost convinced that I'll go for a Keri Hilson's inverted bob after a discussion with my online stylist (hehe!) so here I come with some ideas for this Christmas (perfect match to your special outfits)

GLAM.-Because everyone loves this Hollywood feeling. Try to look like the gorgeous Kerry Washington or Chanel Iman: soft waves, red lipstick and you'll get this sophisticated look.

UPDOS.- Perfect for a boho chic style as Demi Lovato (try braids and headbands!) or super glam and sleek as Leona Lewis. I love these big buns. So cool and easy! Did you have a look to Leona's fuchsia lips? A must-have!

* As a woman it's horrible to say this but it's well-known that Vanessa Bryant was so difficult to deal with. It seems she just wanted the money, fame and power associated to her marriage. So what's next, Basketball Wives of LA? Another case à la Elin Nordegren.

* It's true Kobe Bryant cheated on his wife. An example, Carla DiBello: producer, PR and Kim Kardashian's BFF. But at least, she had career ambition. Now media tabloids are saying he's involved with KK. For God's sake.

* Kobe's fortune: $150 mil accounts for real estate holdings, stock, cash and other assets. New reports are estimating the star's fortune around $400 million. Without the prenup, means 50/50 split. Even with $75 million, she should be happy.

*She stood by him after the rape accusation (then dismissed). She got $4 million of her 'forgive me' ring, she didn't get a divorce back then (2003). 2011, ten years of marriage: coincidence? In California, 10 (or more) years are a long term marriage... which means she will be paid for life or until she remarries again. It´ll be so cool to be single.

*What's ironic: Vanessa still loves Kobe but can't stand his affaires anymore, so she's ending the marriage and getting his fortune.

Why I hate Christmas

Last Sunday I was trying to get some ideas for my Christmas' presents (you know, two Secret Santas and one cool-but-cheap-and-from-all-my-love present for my boyfriend) and... oh. The main street here was collapsed at ...10 am. Everyone was holding bags and red stuff, people with babies (screams everywhere while looking at -Santa?- on Fenwick), Christmas carols, decorations... And I repeat, it was 10 am.

I think is one of the reasons why I DO hate Christmas time. Everyone is just crazy on the shopping mall like two months before Dec 24th. And guys, that's HORRIBLE.

That time I remembered that I was like five years old when I watched Mickey Mouse's A Christmas Carol. You know, thoughts about sharing, family and stuff like that. I mean, Mickey Mouse wasn't obsessed with the latest Nintendo DS.

I'm trying to be more Christmas-sy, but I really can't. Maybe I'll watch Love Actually again. Or New Year's Eve. (should I give it a try?)

The only thing I love about this season is Mariah Carey's Christmas' Album. but I'm not sure about this year, with all this Justin Bieber thing (he does look like a girl, doesn´t he? And he's changing his voice.. awwww! all grown up)

Don't ruin my Christmas, Mariah. I had "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" recorded 21 times on a CD.

Talking about a big BIG hair mess. Today (hooray! It's Friday!) I woke up as Chewbacca having a very bad day. Seriously, all my hair covered my face and then it was just not that into me when I tried to comb it. Because I TRIED. Looking at my latest idea of a new look (aka golden blonde highlights and auburn lowlights -I know, I know... what the hell was I thinking?) I touched my hair and thought that probably Chewbbie had a softer touch on his own. Really.

So here you have some tips I have learnt throughout the years:

* Use oils such as jojoba or extra olive tu hydrate your hair.

* Black hair is very dry and moisture is essential. Make sure your moisturizer has aqua/water listed as its first ingredient!

* You can always air dry instead of blow-drying! Choose styles that don't require heat, but if you are a straightners-addict as myself, just try to put a heat protector before using them.

* Try to find a hairstyle that doesn't put tension on your scalp, so you won't get traction alopecia! Try to avoid braids, extensions, hair pieces or wigs.

* The key to growing black hair is to stop breaking it off! Avoid brushing your hair. Use a wide toothed comb, or your fingers, to work with your hair. Brushes can destroy your hair by shearing it out of the scalp

* New product alert! Try a natural hair range such as Northwest Scents, which are perfect for Black and Caribbean hair. You can find them on Amazon.

So you all know now that KIM KARDASHIAN filed for divorce a couple of days ago after 72 stressful days of marriage. I've never been a KK simphatizer and this story is getting on my nerves, but I really love this last update. If it's true, Kris Jenner must be proud of her daughter, there's going to be a storyline for like... half a year.

So Mediatakeout.com claimed that over the weekend, Kim had lunch with former boyfriend Reggie Bush in NYC. Two days later, she filed for divorce. According to a person close to Reggie, the discussion at one point turned to whether the pair could ever reconcile.

"Reggie told her that he would not do anything with her unless she was single. She had to get an official divorce before he would ever even consider having a physical relationship with Kim."

And my bosses think that sneakers are not the perfect pair of shoes for work. A sweet woman with amazing hair who can wear kaftans and high waisted pants like no other, it’s no wonder that Folake is also in the running for Chictopia’s Influential Blogger of the Year Award. As one of the most prominent black bloggers in the Chictopia community, we thought it’d be great to share some of Folake’s feedback and concerns about race with Chictopia’s readers. Read on to see what Folake has to say about racism in fashion.

AMETHYST: Could you give us a short bio about yourself?

FOLAKE: My name is Folake Huntoon. I was born in Bronx, NY, and I’m Nigerian. I’m a wife and mother of three. I have worked in the fashion industry for 12 years and own a bohemian clothing line called WeWe Clothing. I am the owner and editor of online magazine Style Pantry.

AMETHYST: What’s the first thing that pops up into your mind when you read or hear about the topic of racism in fashion?

FOLAKE: It saddens me. Fashion is an outlet for many of us to express ourselves creatively. It’s meant to be fun and light hearted. This is when we get to embrace and celebrate our beautiful differences, so to have people of color frowned upon, degraded or condemned because they do not fit the industry’s definition of beauty can be deflating. I see fashion as a melting pot, and as such, all cultures, styles, ethnicities should be respected.

AMETHYST: Do you think fashion is racist?

FOLAKE: It would be nice to see more ethnic/minority faces and beauties in fashion. The Asian, Black, and Latino community is huge and filled with gorgeous people. So, yes, the disparity is a little alarming.

AMETHYST: Fashion is such a broad term, so I’d like to get down to one part of it which I’m sure you understand very well with your own website Style Pantry. Do you think there is racism in fashion blogging?

FOLAKE: Yes, I see racism, but do I think about it and does it affect my daily life? No. I rise above it. I know that hard work pays off, so I stay focused and concentrate on getting the job done. I have to say though, there are a ton of beautiful minority bloggers I have come across in my years online. Their styles are incredible and they have a pure heart to match. I think they deserve to be acknowledged with the same frequency and regularity.

AMETHYST: Have you experienced racism as a fashion blogger?

FOLAKE: Fashion blogging in general has been a challenging road. It’s almost like high school, where it’s filled with cliques and if you are not up to a certain par, you can’t get into that circle. In that sense, it goes hand in hand with working with brands or getting featured in a magazines. It’s easy to associate rejections from brands with racism, but I like to think that it just wasn’t meant to be and the right opportunity will come along :)

AMETHYST: Are there any fashion muses (for example, super models, industry leaders) who you admire?

FOLAKE: I admire leading women who support other women: Oprah and Diane von Furstenberg are my idols.

AMETHYST: What do you think is the most important trait for being a fashion blogger and an overall human being?

FOLAKE: The most important trait is to be kind. However it is also imperative to interact and connect with your readers and fans.

AMETHYST: Do you have any advice for other minority fashion bloggers who are trying to make a career for themselves in fashion, whether it be blogging or something else?

FOLAKE: As stated before, be kind to everyone. Be professional. Be very consistent with blogging. Be passionate and dedicated to your craft.
